No Gap Preventive Services*
At Bonnells Bay Dental, eligible patients with private health insurance may be able to access selected preventive dental services with no out-of-pocket expense, subject to their level of cover and available annual limits.
This arrangement applies to eligible preventive services including:
- Preventive check-ups and examinations
- Scale and clean
- Diagnostic dental X-rays
Where the health fund rebate fully covers the treatment fee and sufficient benefits remain, there may be no gap to pay.
Eligibility depends on your individual health fund policy, level of cover, and remaining annual limits.

HICAPS
Our practice uses the HICAPS system, allowing eligible patients to claim their health fund rebate on the spot. The rebate is processed electronically at the time of your appointment, and any remaining balance can be settled immediately.
